Processing and security of personal data

When you make a booking to stay at the Villa-Altea, we need certain information from you.

We also process data in other cases, such as requests for information, for example by telephone or via the contact form on our website.

What do we want to know about you?

We use the Bukazu booking system. Here we ask for your personal information. We also store information about your previous bookings here. Then we can help you faster and in a more targeted manner.

Below is described what data we can process and what we do with it:

Your first name, last name and gender
To be able to address you personally in the holiday home but also in our further communication, we are happy to use your personal information. These are also necessary to be able to register your booking and to inform our employees about your arrival.

Address and place of residence
We will send you most booking details by e-mail. We may also send some information by post.

telephone number
Sometimes we have questions about your booking. In some cases we call before departure or afterwards to ask if everything is clear and whether everything has been satisfactory. We will make your telephone number available to our manager in order to reach you in case this is necessary.

We need your email address to reach you by mail and to confirm your booking. You will receive confirmation of your payments and information about your stay.

Bank details
We use your bank account number and Bic exclusively and only to be able to refund your deposit. We ask for the name of the bank account to be sure that the amount goes to the person who belongs to the bank account.

Number of persons
We ask about the number of guests in order to be able to inform our employees correctly and to be able to fulfill our obligations to state the number of overnight stays. Due to legal obligations, you must hand us a copy of your passport, ID or driver’s license on the spot.

IP address
We may look for your IP address on the internet. We remember your preferences and to give you suitable advice.

You can reach us by telephone, by mail and via Social Media. To help you as well as possible, we save your information and questions.

Your data will be passed on to organizations that perform activities related to your booking. This also concerns parties that are not part of Villa-Altea. This concerns, for example, the insurance company if you have taken out cancellation insurance, travel insurance or non-life insurance.

We do not send newsletters.

Claim data
Sometimes we use guest information to investigate, prevent and combat fraud. Under certain circumstances, we are obliged to pass on personal data to certain authorities. In connection with sanctions legislation, it may also happen that we have to share your data with, for example, financial institutions.

If personal data are processed outside the European Union, the applicable legislation must always be complied with and appropriate measures must be taken.

If you visit our website, like us on Facebook or make a booking, we will remember what you like.

Contact, view, change or delete data
